“You’re about to see Israel [do] what it does best: rescue good people. So stand by.”
Those are the words of former Israeli special operator Aaron Cohen, who believes that the delay in Israel’s ground invasion into Gaza might be due to new intelligence information with respect to the condition of hostages taken by Hamas terrorists in the Strip.
Incidentally, the anticipated massive ground invasion should not be confused with Israel on Friday sending limited ground forces into Gaza to conduct localized raids.
Anyway, speaking of “what Israel does best,” the Jewish state also does a damn good job of further kicking the hell out of Islamist terrorists who kill innocent Israeli citizens if they continue to play stupid games.
During an appearance on Fox News on Sunday, Cohen laid out his analysis of the tense situation.
What we need is what Israel does best. They come together, they’re creative. They’ve got the intestinal fortitude. They’ve got the experience, and right now thousands of phone calls are being listened to. You’re about to see Israel [do] what it does best: rescue good people. So stand by.
The announced Israeli delay in its invasion plans this weekend was reportedly due to weather that threatened to obstruct the Israeli Air Force’s ability to support a ground invasion, although Cohen suggested to Fox that there was likely a “rest of the story.”
The former intel expert said the delay buys time to save the hostages and is a top priority for Israel, and that the notion that the pause was due to weather conditions was likely “phony.”
When Netanyahu Talks, It’s a Good Idea for Terrorists to Listen
As we reported last Monday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, in effect, that Israel was going to deliver hell on earth to Hamas — and potentially those who fund or shield the terrorists.
Speaking prior to the decision to delay the ground invasion, Netanyahu said:
This war was forced upon us by a dreaded enemy, animals that kill men, women, children, and the elderly. Children handcuffed [and] executed with the rest of their families. Young people were shot in the back, executed, and other horrors that I will not describe here.
We have always known what Hamas was all about. Now the entire world knows. Hamas is ISIS, and we will beat them just like the Western world has beaten ISIS. This terrible enemy wanted a war, and it will receive a war.
And then, the mother of all promises:
I promise you, dear citizens, at the end of the war all of our enemies will know it was a terrible mistake to attack Israel. What we will do to our enemy in the next few days will echo for generations.
If you doubt Netanyahu’s promise, you don’t know much about Netanyahu.
The Bottom Line
So as I transcribed that last quote, I satirically imagined Joe Biden — AKA: “The most inept president in the history of the United States” — delivering a message anywhere even close to the above from Bibi Netanyahu.
My conclusion: Oh, hell no. Proof? Three words: Biden Border Crisis.
It’s one unconscionable thing for the leader of a country to fail to protect his or her country’s borders, but Biden intentionally throwing open the U.S. southern border on Day One of his presidency, with no end in sight — solely for the purpose of importing as many illegal aliens as he can get away with for as long as he can — is indefensible and indeed immoral.
Meanwhile, Bibi Netanyahu will soon make Hamas pay dearly, while Joe Biden tilts at MAGA windmills.
