As I reported on Tuesday, illegal aliens were evacuated from an unsustainable tent camp the city had set up on Floyd Bennett Field because of concerns about the weather and high winds. But that’s something they should have anticipated and not put them there in that situation to begin with.
So when bad weather hit, they then choose to move them to James Madison High School, about five miles away, and boot the kids to remote learning. That just infuriated everyone, both in the local area and across the country as they found out.
Even Elon Musk and Libs of TikTok, who is from New York, weighed in.
This is what happens when you run out of hotel rooms. Soon, cities will run out of schools to vacate. Then they will come for your homes. https://t.co/MQ159OlOXc

One mom allegedly took pictures of things being moved in for the illegal aliens in big trucks and she was told not to take pictures.
BREAKING: I just received this footage from a mom in James Madison High School in NYC where students are learning remotely to make room for illegals to sleep there. Workers are unloading cots, food, and supplies for the illegals.

The mom is told not to record. Why are they… pic.twitter.com/NFHxxS55O5
Another mom sounded off about this move and yelled at the buses moving people in, “How does it feel that you kicked all the kids out of school tomorrow?
Turns out at least according to an alleged notice the “remote learning” wasn’t even that, they were to log in to get their assignments but there was no live teacher, unless requested.
The situation in James Madison High School is even worse than we thought. They’re not even doing remote live learning with a teacher.

Students have to request in advance via email if they want an actual teacher to be available to teach them.

Sounds like whoever sent that notice out needs some grammar help. It isn’t “teachers Google classrooms,” but it should be “teachers’ Google classrooms.”
The problem is that this is an unsustainable situation to begin with, as Councilwoman Inna Vernikov said in my prior story — putting the people to live in a tent in a field. There’s going to be bad weather and they didn’t account for that. So it’s likely to be a problem again.
The city’s Comptroller Brad Lander expressed concerns about placing asylum seekers at the field in the first place, with the known storm risks and costs of moving them as more severe weather is expected this winter.
They’ve already been putting people in college dorms in the city. So what are the options as the problem increases?
The city government is inept in coming up with this plan. But the real problem is Joe Biden not enforcing the law and properly securing the border. And the only way this truly gets resolved is to vote him out.
