It’s safe to say that after Kamala Harris’ embarrassing defeat to Donald Trump last Tuesday, the war of words and death glares between Democrats are escalating along with the infighting that often happens after a candidate or candidates lose in such spectacular fashions.
Already, we’ve seen First Lady Jill Biden going ice cold with the Vice President during post-election events they’ve both attended, with a clear message being sent of “we want nothing to do with you anymore.”
Relatedly, there have been the open squabbles among Democrats over their warped priorities, with Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) sparking backlash (and a staffer’s resignation) over the inconvenient truths he blurted out about transgender “women” who play in women’s sports and the need to listen to women’s legitimate concerns about the matter.

Another area of focus has been the infighting over how the $1 billion Harris raised during her short campaign for president was spent, with the revelations on how she spent substantial amounts seemingly to buy endorsements, not to mention the $15-20 million spent on the election-eve concerts, ushering forth a lot of second-guessing and finger pointing.
As a result of all that spending (only to end up losing in the end), Kamala HQ now finds itself broke and begging for cash. But as it turns out that, too, is causing consternation and drama from within, with the “official” reason given for continuing to ask for money – to fund recounts in down-ballot races – being disputed:
Two campaign officials said the requests are for money meant to eventually flow to the Democratic National Committee to help assist with efforts such as state recounts or curing ballots.
One of the officials acknowledged there was some debt but downplayed its significance, saying it would not be difficult to pay off by year’s end. The official also stressed that, given the results of the election, it would have been worse to have lost while sitting on a pile of unspent cash.
But several campaign officials questioned that contention, saying it appeared the requests were meant to pay down debt. One senior campaign official called the practice of asking supporters for more money after losing decisively and having taken in so much money as “appalling” and another described it as “disgusting.” A third person who was flooded with complaints from donors questioned how Democrats could save their credibility moving forward.
The mismanagement and lack of cohesive message from Team Kamala was all so predictable, dating back to her first failed presidential run in 2019, which ended in part because of the very same issues that played out throughout her 2024 campaign in crucial battleground states like Pennsylvania, which she ultimately lost.
It seems only fitting that a little over a week after Election Day that, instead of being able to quietly focus on her remaining weeks as the veep, Harris has to endure even more self-inflicted public humiliation. You love to see it. You truly do.
