There have been a couple of very concerning cases involving the arrests of judges for their actions concerning alleged illegal aliens over the past couple of days.
First, there was the story of a judge who was allegedly housing an illegal alien gang member in his home. He was banned by the state Supreme Court in New Mexico from ever holding a judicial position again, and federal agents arrested him earlier this week.
Then there was the judge in Wisconsin who the FBI arrested for allegedly obstructing ICE when they came to her court looking for an illegal alien.

Here’s what Attorney General Pam Bondi has to say about those cases.
According to Bondi, Judge Dugan allegedly learned ICE was outside waiting for the defendant in her courtroom. She directed them to see the Chief Judge.
“She comes back into the courtroom. You’re not going to believe this. Takes the defendant and the defense attorney back in her chambers. Takes them out a private exit and tells them to leave. While the state prosecutor and victims of domestic violence are sitting in the courtroom.”
She also went into some of the details in the New Mexico case when the judge was arrested on evidence tampering charges.
Now, you would think the Democrats should condemn such alleged behavior. Or at the very least, hold their fire until they find out more facts. But no. Somehow, no matter what it is, no matter what is alleged, they always and only think through a lens of “How can we attack President Donald Trump?”
Here’s Sen. Tina Smith (D-MN).
Um, it’s not a red line if the judge has allegedly broken the law? How is this hard?
Then there was Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA), the guy who sometimes acts like a moderate, commenting on the arrest of Judge Dugan.
“Donald Trump and JD Vance are arresting judges now,” he said. “Deleting the tweet wouldn’t undo the constitutional crisis you have thrust us into.”
Incredible. No, arresting judges for alleged crimes is not a “constitutional crisis,” and it doesn’t appear that FBI Director Kash Patel deleted the tweet as Khanna claimed. But Khanna might wish he could delete his tweet. The judges were not getting arrested because of Trump and Vance; they were getting arrested because of their own alleged actions.
JD Vance just ended this nonsense, quoting Khanna back to Khanna.
“As the estimable Ro Khanna once said, “No one is above the law.”
Here’s when Khanna said that, of course, applying it to Trump, not a Democrat.
There was one of those for Smith as well.
It’s quite something to see Democrats imploding on this hill, but they just keep making it worse.
