While Democrats and the press continue to pretend they care deeply about the controversy surrounding a national security Signal chat, we all know the truth. These are the same people who didn’t call for a single resignation after 13 Americans were murdered due to the Biden administration’s rank incompetence. The fact that an entire family of innocent children was then blown up in a failed attempt to try to save face never even registered.

So yeah, almost everyone demanding that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and other Trump officials resign or even face criminal charges over this can sit all the way down. One of those people is Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who decided he’d try to get a dunk in.
Oh man, the Trump administration is so owned! Obviously, they are complete hypocrites for firing government employees for using a chat tool to discuss official government business. Wait, though. Is that what happened?
Fortunately, I wrote the story up on that back in February, so I’m well acquainted with the details. Let’s discuss them, shall we?

One popular chat topic was male-to-female transgender surgery, which involves surgically removing the penis and turning it into an artificial vagina. “[M]ine is everything,” said one male who claimed to have had gender reconstruction surgery. “[I]’ve found that i like being penetrated (never liked it before GRS), but all the rest is just as important as well.” Another intelligence official boasted that genital surgery allowed him “to wear leggings or bikinis without having to wear a gaff under it.”
These employees discussed hair removal, estrogen injections, and the experience of sexual pleasure post-castration. “[G]etting my butthole zapped by a laser was . . . shocking,” said one transgender-identifying intel employee who spent thousands on hair removal. “Look, I just enjoy helping other people experience boobs,” said another about estrogen treatments. “[O]ne of the weirdest things that gives me euphoria is when i pee, i don’t have to push anything down to make sure it aims right,” a Defense Intelligence Agency employee added.
Is Schiff suggesting that it was a proper use of government resources to discuss getting one’s “butthole zapped” and other aspects of “transitioning” one’s gender? Or was it the discussion of feeling “euphoria” while peeing that did it for him? What exactly aged badly about the decision to fire those people? Inquiring minds and all that.
Of course, the most obvious retort here doesn’t involve using government chat tools to talk about castration and orgies. It’s the fact that Schiff was the primary driver behind the Russia collusion hoax. So yeah, if we are going to talk about what didn’t age well, perhaps we can talk about that.
The are some on the right who have been skeptical of NSA Michael Waltz for a while and are expressing anger over this flub. They have the standing to do so. It was a stupid mistake to add Jeffrey Goldberg to the chat, whether it was done by Waltz himself or one of his staffers. But Schiff and his Democrat colleagues have no credibility to speak to any of this. For them to now act as if they have some high ground to hurl criticisms from is laughably insulting, especially to the Gold Star families they ignored for political gain.
