Steven Crowder may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but he dropped a bombshell on Monday.
It seems the YouTube host got his hands on a few pages of what purports to be the Nashville school shooter’s manifesto and released them into the wild.
So far there’s been no official confirmation that the pages are real, but no official denials either. If they are the real deal (and I have no reason to believe they’re not), we’re learning some interesting things about the killer’s motivations.
The transgender-identifying killer who murdered six people at a Christian school in Nashville was consumed by leftist racial hatred targeting whites as “privileged,” according to three pages of the shooter’s diary released by podcaster Steven Crowder on Monday.
“Kill those kids!!! Those crackers going to private fancy schools with those fancy khakis + sports backpacks w/ their daddies mustangs + convertables [sic],” the 28-year-old female shooter wrote in a diary entry dated February 3.
“I wish to shoot you weakass d—ks w/ your mop yellow hair, wanna kill all you little crackers! Bunch of little f—gots w/ your white privileges,” she wrote.
Three photographs of the pages of the shooter’s diary were obtained by Crowder, who reported that his investigative team independently confirmed the authenticity of the images. The Daily Wire’s sources have also confirmed the authenticity of the pages.
The musings reflect the envy for stable, productive society that is targeted as “dominant” and “privileged” by the Critical Race Theory espoused in many public schools.
The shooter, who The Daily Wire is not naming, boasted to a friend before the shooting that she had left plenty of evidence behind making her motives clear. Nashville’s police acknowledged this fact after the shooting.
Now, in the immediate aftermath, there were questions about the validity.
Police in Nashville have only said that the images are not crime scene photos, but haven’t explicitly said whether or not the images are legitimate or not.
For what it’s worth, the Daily Wire leadership and Steven Crowder have a stormy relationship of late. The fact that both of them are saying this is legit means that either it’s legit or someone has buffaloed both of them.
I’m leaning on it being the former, especially in light of this.
The Nashville mayor's office has confirmed they are working with Metro legal to determine how those images were released to anyone.

We are working to update this story. https://t.co/wRm7JjgWcs
Maybe it’s just me, but it would seem that the mayor’s office wouldn’t be investigating a leak if actual documents weren’t leaked.
Now, does that mean we’ve seen everything?
That particular station’s investigative reported posted this on X, formerly Twitter:
Multiple sources have told me that the selective leak of three pages of the #CovenantSchool shooting “manifesto” is EXTREMELY misleading. People who have read the whole thing say “there’s something in there for everybody.” Another, “She hated everybody.”

Now, that may be true. However, since Nashville officials have refused to release the entire thing, even redacting parts that might provide insight to a future killer, all we have to go on is what Crowder has released.
And this is very interesting, if you ask me.
Again, all we have is what Crowder released–and YouTube has removed the video–so that’s all we can go on, but it sure looks like a lot of stuff we typically hear from the left.
It’s not the first time a mass shooter has left their motives behind in writing, only for it to be motivated by leftist ideas. We also saw this in Louisville, Kentucky. In that case, I called the shooting domestic terrorism.
Based on what we’ve seen out of Nashville, I can’t help but call it the same thing.
Absent any other evidence, it sure looks like the killer targeted those kids at least in part based on a warped political ideology that requires lumping entire ethnic groups into one big pot and painting them all with the perceived sins of everyone who has come before.
In this way, Nashville is not that different from the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting.
Now, if this is an incorrect impression, officials there can just release the manifesto as the originally said they would.
In fact, they should anyway.
The truth of the matter is that we, as a society, are constantly trying to understand what makes people do something like this. As such, when one leaves a “manifesto” or anything else of the sort, we need to see what it says so we can try to comprehend what drives someone to commit such an evil act.
With this case, what we’re seeing is the CRT-derived anti-white self-hatred that is common on many American college campuses. It’s kind of hard to look at that fact and not figure that is at least part of why it’s not being released.
Regardless, this glimpse into the warped mind of a killer is troubling. It’s all the more troubling because it’s been suggested this is just the tip of the iceberg.
