Jacqui Heinrich Schools Lib ‘Journo’ Who Criticized Her Questioning of Mayorkas About Terror Plot

It’s becoming more and more apparent that the left doesn’t want their political overlords to be questioned about anything lest it hurts their chances of winning the White House. We see this every day as Kamala Harris runs from reporters’ microphones and opts, instead, to quaff beer with Stephen Colbert. Most of the lapdog media are more than happy to play this game, but there are still a few journalists out there who are willing to ask the tough questions.

Take, for instance, Jacqui Heinrich of Fox News. She and Peter Doocy are the tag team of nightmares for Karine Jean-Pierre and don’t, unlike their peers, let the White House get away with sweeping things under the rug.

As RedState reported Thursday, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas appeared via video at the daily White House briefing to update the media on the Biden-Harris administration’s hurricane clean-up efforts. Heinrich took the opportunity to question Mayorkas about emerging reports of a thwarted terror attack being planned for Election Day by an Afghan national who supposedly entered the U.S. on a Special Immigrant Visa (SIV). At issue was why Mayorkas’ own DHS was saying the terrorist came in on a SIV while the State Department says that’s not the case.

Here’s Heinrich to Mayorkas:

When a foreign national comes into your country and plans a mass casualty event for Election Day, you might, like Jacqui Heinrich, want to know what exactly is going on and why the administration is yet again bungling national security. Mayorkas balked, blathered, and eventually got angry, ending the questioning by saying, “Jacqui, Jacqui, Jacqui, your persistence in questioning can be matched by my persistence in answers.”

Heinrich’s persistence irked some folks who don’t want the electorate to be well-informed, with one self-described “journalist” hack, Aaron Rupar, tweeting out: “Mayorkas didn’t have much patience for a Fox reporter trying to turn a press availability about the federal storm response into a Trump campaign ad.” Ha, ha, it’s all a big joke.

Heinrich was having none of it and pushed back hard.

Here’s the entirety of her comments back to Rupar:

Hacks like Rupar apparently need to be reminded that administration officials like Alejandro Mayorkas work for us, the taxpayers, and they owe us answers when they put our lives in jeopardy. And there are certainly valid questions about who’s minding the store, with pictures emerging of Mayorkas shoe shopping and eating sushi after spending a short few hours attending to issues in hurricane-ravaged North Carolina.

And it’s not just reporters at Fox News noticing the dereliction of duty trend amongst key players in the Biden-Harris administration. Republicans are noticing, too, with Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) commenting, “This Administration has completely failed the American people, again. It is offensive that the secretary is wasting time eating over-priced sushi rolls at fancy restaurants, when he should be working to get disaster relief out the door immediately for the people in desperate need of basic necessities.”
