Tucker Carlson didn’t hold back at a Wednesday night Donald Trump campaign rally in Duluth, Georgia, hosted by Turning Point PAC and Turning Point Action, but then again, you wouldn’t expect him to. The former highly rated Fox News host and founder of the Tucker Carlson Network has shown again and again that he’s unafraid of taking strong positions, and you can count on him to speak his mind.
He seemed to be having an absolute blast throughout the 20-minute speech, and the audience appeared to as well, frequently roaring. He got the crowd going by noting, “So here we are, at an enormous Donald Trump rally less than two weeks before the presidential election, I’m following Bobby Kennedy Jr., and somewhere, at a half-empty union hall in a cold state, is Dick Cheney’s creepy little daughter, campaigning with Kamala Harris.”
Oof:
That is a thrilling trade as far as I’m concerned.
Later, he summed up the current state of the Democrat party as only he could:
His breakdown of the Democrat party is perfect: “It’s the party of weirdos, of envy, of hate, of resentment, of bitterness, of weakness, of a total lack of creativity. It’s a party of conformity…”
We need to get Tucker to go to more Trump rallies. He is a master communicator of complex ideas.
Tucker also heavily complimented X owner Elon Musk for coming out so bravely for Trump, knowing full well he would receive enormous backlash (which he has):
“Elon Musk has more to lose than any living American by taking the position that he did. And he did it anyway.”
He also said he believes the former president is going to win in November, and he recounted how the GOP nominee has endured a historical, illegitimate crusade to discredit him. Those days are over, he vowed:
“Defame him, indict him, arrest him, let him get shot in the face, and he’s going to win anyway.”
There were many more great lines (watch the whole thing; link at the end), but one moment in particular stood out: when he compared raising children to our continued allowing of the Democrats to attempt to destroy the country. If you keep letting your kids get away with bad behavior, he explained, you get more of it. “There has to be a point at which—Dad comes home,” he said. “And he’s PISSED!”
Later, he came back to that theme to end his remarks. “You can look them [leftists] straight in the face and say, ‘I’m sorry, Dad’s home—and he’s pissed!'” Exactly. Americans are pissed, and it’s time to let the country know and kick the bums out of office.
