Governor JB Pritzker (D-IL) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that he was concerned about a presidential debate because former President Donald Trump “lies and lies and lies.”
Pritzker said, “Let’s let the courts have their say about Donald Trump’s crimes and I don’t think that Joe Biden needs to be talking about that when he can remind people about what’s at stake for their future when they go into the ballot box at in November.”
Host Dana Bash said, “There is a lot of talk about whether there will be a debate between the president and the former president. Would you encourage Joe Biden to debate Donald Trump?”
Pritzker said, “Look, I think we are used to having debates, there’s no doubt. I will say that whenever I look at Donald Trump’s debating style, he lies and lies and lies. It’s so hard to respond to that the middle of a debate. You only have 30 seconds or 60 seconds to respond. Do you talk about what you want to do for the future or do you respond to the lies that have come out of Donald Trump’s mouth every minute? So I’m concerned about that just to be honest with you. But I also think that Joe Biden is a terrific debater. He understands the issues. Donald Trump doesn’t read, doesn’t understand any of these issues. And so he’ll just prevaricate the entire time while Joe Biden is actually showing people great future for the United States.”

The claim that Trump lies is ongoing. what we dont see is proof. only statements about what he lied about. dont be shy give us the details. unless you cant. As I confront my all knowing inlaws and outlaws about their HATE TRUMP mindset asking that they point out what he did wrong. All without exception point to the insurrection which to date no one including Trump has been charged with. The last time I looked we the people retain the right to address the government with our grievances. Which is protected under our first amendment. while riotous act’s of destruction can be prosecuted, which is what most of the demonstrators were charged with they accuse Trump from everything to passing abortion laws that restrict women’s rights to handing billions of dollars to Israel and Ukraine. yet he isn’t part of government? where is he getting this power? Then they bring up the hush money. Well that was part of the same disclosure agreements that everyone signed that went on his show. yes he wasn’t in government at that time. Lest we forget that he overvalued his property to get loans. loans the banks approved because they had his property as assurance. loans he paid back without problem. where is the victim? As I disrupt their frail beliefs in CNN and their never ending diatribe against trump, they fail to realize that without him they wouldn’t have any viewers. So many shallow minds who let media do their thinking for them. when our nation falls and it will the media will find itself tightly controlled, able to produce only what is “approved” just as Germany, Italy, China, and Russia do. Their once high position now suffered as only a mouthpiece for government. saying anything against government may find themselves in jail as disadent terriorests to the state. ——-I, Grampa
